Rules of Typography

There are many different ways that typography has changed over the years. In order for your work to be considered professional, keeping up with the times is a must.

I learned a lot from this chapter. Something that really clicked with me was when the author talked about only needing to use one technique to symbolize a new paragraph. It always frustrated me when creating new projects and there were somethings you would have to do, even though anyone with any common sense would understand it without those extra things. That’s how I felt about the paragraph section.

Also, I was one of those people guilty of putting things in all CAPS. After looking at the given example of something written in all caps verses lowercase, it helped me realize how awful it is to read something without the coastline that helps our eye move through the words.
